Documents should be completed, but NOT signed before the notary arrives. All signatories MUST be present with a Valid Government Issued Photo ID  (cannot be expired).

A Notary Public verifies only the identity of the individual(s) who signed the document and not the truthfulness, accuracy or validity of that document.

Forms of Acceptable Identification

Florida Statute 117.05(5)(b)

The Florida notary public may rely on any of the following ten forms of identification if the identification has been issued within the past five years and bears a serial or other identifying number, or is current (whichever is longer

  1. A Florida identification card or driver license issued by the public agency authorized to issue driver licenses
  2. A passport issued by the Department of State
  3. A passport issued by a foreign government if the document is stamped by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service
  4. A driver license or an identification card issued by a public agency authorized to issue driver licenses in a state other than Florida or in a territory of the United States, or Canada or Mexico
  5. An identification card issued by any branch of the armed forces of the United States
  6. A veteran health identification card issued by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs
  7. An inmate identification card issued on or after January 1, 1991, by the Florida Department of Corrections for an inmate who is in the custody of the department
  8. An inmate identification card issued by the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, for an inmate who is in the custody of the department
  9. 9. A sworn, written statement from a sworn law enforcement officer that the forms of identification for an inmate in an institution of confinement were confiscated upon confinement and that the person named in the document is the person whose signature is to be notarized
  10. An identification card issued by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service

Please understand that all services offered by Michael are mobile-only and additional fees will be applied.

Booking/Cancellation Policy

Please call Michael at 561-407-0490 to cancel/reschedule at least 2 hours before scheduled appointment.  Any deposit collected will be applied to cost of services or forfeited for failure to cancel or no show.

All signatories MUST be able to communicate directly with Notary.  Translators are not permitted for notary services.

$50 or the accommodation/travel fee, whichever is higher, will be charged for “No Shows’ or cancellations less than the time permitted in the booking policy or time specified in all verbal or written agreements.

All payments will be applied to services or FORFEITED if cancellation is less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment or you NO SHOW. Full payment is due at the time of service.

Notarization & Government fees will be determined at the time of service.

All signatories/applicants MUST be present and have valid Driver’s License (cannot be expired) or approved Government issued photo ID.  Please be sure to have all documents completed but NOT signed before Michael’s arrival.

A $15 late fee will be applied 30 minutes after scheduled appointment and for every 20 minutes thereafter.

If for any reason services cannot be completed, excluding operator error, fees are non-refundable.

Mobile Notary Fees

Notarization fees* are regulated by the Secretary of State and are set at $10.00 per Notarized Signature.

+ Accommodation fees:

Delray Beach, Boynton Beach– $40.00 and includes one notarized signature. $10.00 for each additional signature. 

Boca Raton – $55.00 and includes one notarized signature. $10.00 for each additional signature.

Deerfield Beach – $65.00 and includes one notarized signature. $10.00 for each additional signature.

*Maximum fee schedule for Notary Services regulated by the of Governor of the State of Florida.

Acknowledgements:    Acknowledgment or proof of deed or other instrument to include the seal and the writing of the certificate. $10 per signature.

Oaths/Affirmations: Administering an oath or affirmation to one person.  $10 per each person.

Jurats: Executing the jurat including the seal. $10 per each signature.

Powers of Attorney:   Certifying a copy of a power of attorney under Probate Code. $10 per copy
